What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
